This truck is still my daily driver, I did have to replace the cam a few months back. Started missing like hell so I pulled the valve cover and found one of the rockers just laying there. That'll do it!
Also I said a while ago I was working on a motorized bicycle to put in the bed. So here is that.
I figured it needed some brass so I got the bullet casings on the head bolts and wrapped the exhaust in brass wire.
This spring I'll get some pics of the two together.
Kind of disappointing that it is totaled with so little damage. Core support is bent, inner fender mounting point is bent and the obvious, as you can see. The truck is over 30 years old and not worth much so it didn't take much to total it. I weighed my options and I feel I did what was best for me at this point. I am buying a 4x4 Ranger, 97 ext cab so I'll be here soon with a new build. Here is your carnage...
I've fixed damage worse than that on a datsun 720 kingcab....had to use a porta-power to push the core support back out and get the inner fenders square
Mini truck of the month, I think. Yes that makes 2 but the good news is...I just bought 2 more. 4x4 this time, I got a '96 ext cab 4.0 auto with all the bells and whistles and a '01 ext cab blown 3.0 auto crank window strip down with a stepside. Work is to begin this weekend, I'll keep you posted!
Hey man! I LOVE your truck.. I just started a 1st Gen build of my own and was wondering how the ride is on your truck, im worried about having troubles with speed bumps, driveways and such if I go as low as you did... Should I be?
