This is when i first got the truck before i started doing things to it

notice the mirror change. i picked them up at a yard sale for $2 because i never like those little plastic ones

i know the covering is a bit crude with the staples but that's something i'll get back to later

i put some aluminum tape on the inside of the pocket so that it would reflect more onto the door

the diamond plate also reflects the light and looks pretty sweet

yep i'm Kirk's little bro. I just plan on driving it until i can get enough money for a trans to put in the '89 with the 2.9L we got out back. And yea it's definitely a little rusty, but the way i look at it's crime deterrent, you don't wanna get too close or it might cut ya.

i think the rust has gotten past the point of repair so i just plan on being careful while driving in an effort to keep as much mud and water out as i can

the tire carrier is a custom Wrench_Werks product, made by me, just like the rear bumper on this rusty but trusty danger ranger. im glad my lil brother got bit by the ranger bug, now ive got someone to share my ranger sickness. i agree with you guys though, this thing needs a tetanus shot! im thinking this will be a good truck for him to start finding his modding skills (hes already diving right in!) and when he finally stumbles upon a good trans (the 89 out back has the A4LD and its blown out like a prostitute, so hopefully he'll find a M5OD or even better a donor truck) i think he will end up building a nice reliable truck and transfer all of his favorite mods over, just like i did to this truck in its hey day. heres a link to its former life: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52844
