I just got finished installing the Duraspark ignition in my Bll. Sure looks weird with all those wires gone. It fired right up and sounds better.:yahoo:

When I pulled the old dizzy, I found that the 2 screws that hold the rotor had come out and were laying in the bottom.:icon_surprised: No wonder it was running badly.

Just have to get the timing zeroed in and the carb adjusted. And therein lays my problem. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to adjust the Motorcraft 2150?:icon_confused: Any info at all would be helpful.

Thanks Skippy, but that's for the feedback carb. I replaced that danged thing with a real carb. I know for the TFI the mixture screws start at 1.5 turns out. I'm just not sure if it is the same for the duraspark.

sorry,i thought the 2150 was the feedback carb.

I think it's both. I could be wrong. The feedback was used with the TFI ignition.

i'm going duraspark this summer so i can get rid of this feed back carb.i allready have the computer disconnected, and the idlespeed motor as well.

i lightly seated the mixture screws then backed them out couple of turns, warmed up the motor.turned in one at a time till motor runs rough, then back off slightly until motor runs smooth.

so far runs good, but i'm still ditching tfi and feedback.

You will be amazed at the difference in how it runs. It may just be me, but even with the timing off alittle and the carb needing adjustment, it just seems to run better. When you give it the gas the engine seems to respond quicker.

that sounds good to me.thanks.
