The college-budget $800 ranger. Not too bad ahh?

any regrets, tips, tricks, or things you woulda done differnt with the camo?

i like the way it kinda fades into the bed kinda wanna do it if it didn't look like copying

Sweet truck, i was wondering if you had any pictures of how you attached the roof rack, i wanna make one for my 94 and i dunno how to attach it, thanks in advance

Hey man i actually dont have any pictures from when i actually attached the rack but heres how i did it:

first i took the headliner out before i even built the rack to give me an idea of how i was gonna mount it. If you look at the pic, you can see the supports in the front above the windshield and on the side right behind the door. If you look inside at the roof you'll see that theres like a piece of sheet metal running around the perimeter of the roof to reinforce the "rim" of the roof. These rails are like skeletonized so they have holes in them so I made sure my rack was gonna be big enough to reach all the way out to these support rails, and that i could find a place to line a bolt up with one of these holes.

When i actually went to mount it, i had some small rectangular pieces of metal that i drilled a hole into for "feet" then welded tubing going from the rack to the feet. I had it set up so the hole in the foot was going to be lined up right over the supporting rail, and once i had all four on i drilled the holes through the roof of the cab (kinda scary to do). Then i cut up an old bike tube and glued them to the bottom of the feet and siliconed them to the top of the truck, put a bolt through with a fender washer on the inside and it was done! hope this helps man! ill try to get some up close pictures of it up, but ive been in the library all week studying for finals so i havent had time.

I think I will use your truck as inspiration for my truck. Mines a 93 2wd and ext. cab like yours except I have a 4.0 and 5spd and its dark blue.

Ugh... I wish it wasn't winter.... I would be all over that camo job... I thinkg the truck would look pretty sick with a little bit more camo all over it but thats just me...

Awesome truck dude. THis summer I am copying your camo.

Oh and for your 3.0L compared to your friends... does he have a 4x4? Different tires? Because yours was a 2x4 and had stock tires on it. Then up to 31's thats probably a good 6 -7" tire size gain. And if he has a 4x4 it probably had higher gearing in the axles. My friend and I both have 3.0L with 5 speeds only mines a 99 4x4 and his is a 93 2x4. His can accelerate FAST but mine has alot easier time pulling him out because he has I think 3.27's or something and I have 3.73's I also have 31's and hes got like 25's

Anyone else think digital camo would look even more sick on a white truck? Or black? Dang I love that camo. My mom said its awesome. And she is neutral towards vehicles haha

sweet truck, does the $900 include the cost of the tires and everything or just the truck?
