A local guy keeps talking about buying my old 89 Ranger 2.9 5spd 4x4 to make a utility/farm/flatbed truck from. Now he's talking about hiring me to build it. He wants to put a Harbor Freight Predator engine under the hood. I told him that was probably the only way anyone could ever make one reliable.

if it's just for fun and destroying it is part of the plan, then yeah, have at it, but as soon as you put a tank of gas in it, its already cost you $40 - $60.
