well it started as a bone stock 92 ranger stx 4.0 5spd fully loaded with over a 200k on it even had the original sparks plug that lead me to replacing the motor with one out of a 95 explorer with only 90k added headers ditched the cat and install a dynomax exhaust.
Added the body lift then started the body work replaced the fenders, doors, hood, the whole box and tailgate and then the lower extended cap panel pretty much everything. Then painted it white to keep it simple.
Then I put on the lift which is just a mix of parts to get the job done. Explorer leaf springs, 6400 shackles skyjacker shocks. Got some 10in wide rims and some off brand 35’s to get me buy till I can get some better ones.
Theres bunch of other little things I’ve done. Oh it also has a system inside for some thumping on the trails. But theres still a bunch I need to do like getting an explorer rearend regearing it and some lockers so I can use 5th gear again. Get the bed rhino lined, roll bar installed, some custom bumpers made plus a winch and some off road lights then I might almost be done. Maybe someday a 5.0 swap when I blow the 4.0. Tell me guys what you think it’s good to finally see my dream truck come together. And the good things it’s only maybe cost me $4500 the way it sits know and that was including buying the truck for $800. The goal is to keep it under 10k.

Very nice work. Not a fan of visors, but it works very well on this truck.

dude, it barely looks ranger, SWEET!

Thats NICE! hows the interior? any different?

i agree visor only look good on lifted trucks.

the interior is all stock except for the stero pioneer headunit with ipod hook up. kenwood speakers in all four corner, mtx 250 watt and a special made box with 10 mtx that was origanlly behind the seat of my 98 ranger. but its all mint inside atleast the pervious owners took care of it. heres a pic of it when i first bought it.

I think it looks fkucing awesome. the wheels arent my cup of tea, but i really like it. i like the hood scoop too. nice job buddy:icon_thumby:

matches the exterior too, sweet, need to put in a fitted radio now, its a new radio that has a dash adapter to blend in with its surroundings, so you dont have a foam block or something on bottom and top fo the radio to look at

I like the way the wheels are large, but still about the same distance as a stock pair are from the wells, lol

the truck's flares are epic btw

yeah i wanted steel wheels but i came across these cheap and there 10 inch wide but they have a hell of an offset if it wasnt for the flares half the tire would stick past the fender. untill i can find some better ones they will do for now.

the stero is a single din and so was the stock one yo might be confused with the newer dashes that had the double din like my 98 had.

lol the fenders only costed me $20 for the jy and the same place i got the hood for $75 and its a real fibergalss one not just scoop molded to a stock hood.

ok i have almost the same truck and im wondering how in the hell did you get 35's on it. if you have a list of parts that you used that would be great. and i love your truck, and are those cutout flares?

I do want to steal your truck, you know that now, right?

damn thats a nice ranger bro i like every thing about it dude and i agree with the 5.0 swap when the 4.0 goes that will just make the truck perfect

well for the lift lets see if i can remember everything correctly i was aiming for a 4 inch suspension lift but i ened up with like 5.5 the coils i think were superlift which i think were the 5.5 the axel drop brackets were rough country i think i wanna get some skyjacker ones though. the rear was explore leafs 6400 belltech shackles and 3in blocks the stocks were 2inch and i need a little bit more in the rear. i might still add some stock ranger leafs to it for some more since i plan on loading the bed with off road gear so that will weight it down some. other than that it has a 3 inch body lift.

the flares are not cut outs i didnt want to cut into that now rust free body.

I'm keeping an eye out for a 5.0 ho motor out of a mustang or lincoln i wanna start gathering parts for it. it would be nice to find a low milage lincoln motor so i dont have to rebuild it.

looks like i'm gonna have to start locking it up in the barn since everybody wants to steal it. funny thing is somebody stop at my place one day wondering if i would see it the first thing i said was no. i finally got it the way i wanted it and if i sold it i would have to start all over.

thaks for all the comments i know its not perfect but its no mall cruiser i wheeled it a little but i plan on hitting the trails soon. but i know i wont get far with stock gears. but i am surpised it still has a lot of go for those 35's i can still break them lose on dry pavment.

Wow that is an awesome truck. It looks like it could drive straight through a wall! I'm not usually a fan of white trucks but yours is downright insane! All it needs now is a lighted visor in my opinion.

I painted it white just to keep it simple and i painted it in my barn which i knew i couldnt pull off a great paint job which i didnt want cause then it would be to nice to go off road which i already did that. the other reason would be if i dented a fender or something it could be easily be repainted and macthed. funny i dont really care for light visors maybe cause there amper maybe if the lights were clear and used colored bulbs it would be alot better

I think you can buy clear ones or ones that are blacked out. but they are separate lights. if you ever feel like it, look up cab lights or recon lights.

Thats beautiful, hte front visor is awesome I think, The rear is a little too 80's. But the truck looks good. 33's would be mroe practical, but i dont think you plan on going offroad do you? I didnt read where it was 4x4, did I miss it?
