i like that red one more than the brown one. reminds me of my first truck, an 85 f150 lariat extended cab short bed with 302 and auto trans. i guess it had the high output motor because it was fuel injected?

I dont think the 302 H.O ever went in the trucks. From 83-87 you could get the (carbed) 351 H.O though. Those ran pretty hard.

i knew you could get a carb'd 302 or a fuel injected one and i thought i read the fuel injected one was an ho unit but i could be wrong. that was in 93-95. it wasn't a 351 though because i got "decent" gas mileage.

dang. google says mine was the top of the line model. it was an xlt lariat in two tone exterior paint and velour interior with jump seats, not the rear bench.

that is a truck i always miss. i drove that thing all over the south and south eastern united states when i was in the army.

i was trying to find a picture but apparently red with black accent exterior is not a common paint scheme

no it wasnt....but damn was it sharp. But yes if yours was a xlt lariat it was top of the heap.
