I just wanted to thank you guys for your help with my timing trouble. In my 38 years I've never had to deal with any timing issues and was quite lost on it. Lastnight I found the diagram in the Chilton's of the emmisions sticker that was once under the hood and it explained things pretty well. So I discovered the distributor went in 1 tooth off, fixed that and set time with the SPOUT connector removed (Thank you so much!) set to 10-11B and now she's running stronger than she has in years and funny thing, no water in the oil :yahoo: and warms to operating temp in about 3-4 minutes now, compared to the previous never. Thanks again, you are all great and I am very thankful for this forum and the knowledge you guys bring. :icon_cheers:

glad you got it all sorted out. these engines really arent too bad to work on if you make sure to follow ALL the steps :icon_thumby:
