Thailand Ranger concept

It looks pretty cool to me. I'm not sure how good of an off-roader it would make, but I'd love to have it as a daily driver. I like how they integrated the tonneau cover into the design. It would be nice if they made it easily removable though.

This is the result when little asian kids play with legos. It looks like a face-lifted Focus on the front, with a mitsubishi raider rear end? wtf is the ridgeline/avalanche bed cover and flares? this isn't a truck. its a toyota helix crossover that will be in the next fast and furious movies for Ricked out trucks. i dont agree with ford going overseas for a US truck, but this is what we get.

i'm not suprised if dragon decals are part of a "street appearance" option at the dealership. concept or not, this is what they're molding it after. i hope the F100 saves this disgrace, until 2012, when the Ranger is built next to its bigger brother (F150, in Wayne, Mich). otherwise, this is an SVT ranger that can't go offroad or haul a bed of bricks, much less a nitrious bottle.

That orange thing is straight out ugly. It doesn't deserve to wear a Ranger badge. I really would like to see that 3.0 diesel here though.

Im going with the mojority on this one, I looks like a Ranger that can go to

the moon... Not much offroading on the moon... And it also leaning towards a

city slickers weak ass Ranger... Ill stick with my 95 ranger... the way rangers

were made to be... not some space care crap thats gonna break and will

cost an arm and a leg to fix... Im old school...:headbang:

Ranger?

Thats a Ranger? they can change the looks but if they change the country of origin.....Well they can keep it over there.

i hate how there making all the new trucks with a ton of plastic like the avalanche it looks like crap i like the newest ranger the best they should keep them like that

The Ranger is the only truck left that doesn't look so retardedly overbuilt. I love the look of the current one, but they definitely need to make some big changes to make the general public want it.

they need to to keep the ranger with the same design body, just widen the stance a bit, boost the hp, and offer some better packages (crew cab) please

That is exactly what they need to do. If they just got the memo 10 years ago the Ranger would be one of the most popular trucks today.

Ditch the silly Honda Ridgeline back & Nissan Frontier fenders. I can see the commercials now: Vin Diesel drifting his stupid looking Ranger around Tokyo with a useless over-sized spoiler on the back.

Maybe if they replaced the plastic stuff on the back with a big steel roll bar & some KC Daylighters.

It needs a real bumper and a real frame. The 3.0 diesel would be sweet. Shoot, Ford owns Volvo, they could stick the 3.2L I6 in it. Not that I'd want a Volvo engine in a Ranger, but an inline 6 might be nice. What would be even better is if Ford would bring back the 302 & plop one in a Ranger.

Oh yeah... A solid front axle would be nice (at the very least as an option).

I'd buy it! Then light it on fire and roll it down a hill into a lake. :lame::lame::lame::lame:

ill keep my 85.i wouldnt buy that thing its stupid looking not practical
