Thailand Ranger concept

i like it, seems new and something to add popularity to the ranger. Im not digging how to topper ties into the back of the truck like the avalanche. Probably look way better with a normal hardtop cover

Its not that bad

I don't understand why so many are quick to judge this new Ranger concept. By the time Ford (or if they do) bring this Ranger to the US market I will be looking to buy one of these. From what I have seen by watching the promo video for this truck <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWpXqQbGvDs> the Ranger Max seems very capable and I think I even spotted a solid rear axle which would lead me to assume a real frame is under that amazing orange body. Just thought I would put my 2 cents into the pot.

Note: Just took this image still from the Ranger Max promo video and the rear axle can clearly be seen.

I like it.

Take that ugly cover / extension thing off the back and I'd take a second look.

That "thing" is horrible! What's the deal with the crap on the bed? ...and the front end needs to be beefed up a bit.

We definitely are in desperate need of a new Ranger (only truck that hasn't upgraded to a bigger & tougher looking truck), but please... make it look like a "TRUCK" for crying out loud! Also, get rid of our freakin' torsion bars and give us back our coilovers! How about soild front anxles in rear & front so we can have a little articulation???

Howdy.
If i may, that's nothing more than a Ranger (the Thay one, or Courier for Aussie) M.Y. 2007 just like the one in the picture but with a body kit; lame (for me) i guess Ford could and must do something better for replacing an icon like the Ranger.
Right now it's sold here in Italy (like the one in the picture) and in the rest of Europe in various trim level with 2 doors supercab and four doors with a 2.5 TD and a 3.0 TD, both Duratorque common rail with manual and automatic transmission (but this one is reserved for the 3.0l)it still has separated bed, ladder frame and low gears.
That said my modest opinion it's that i still prefer the US Ranger just the way it is... and if i could, sooner or later i will get one :)
The new one it's not really my kind, so i will stay by now with my 2006 Ranger.

God Bless America

That Truck Is Ugly. First Thing It Looks To Much Like A Chevy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Only Thing That Would Be Good For Is To Put In The Demolition Derby!!!!!!!!

Rangers are getting smaller & smaller.....

They need to beef them back up to start resembling the Bronco F150 Combo,
Kind of what was 25 - 30 yrs ago, Need to start looking like the've got some b@*ls again!

Thums down for the new Ranger... Fronts ok, but from the mirrors back I do not like !
