Thailand Ranger concept

I'd like it as long as it has:

A full frame
A removable box
A removable front bumper where I can bolt my own up
No bed cover or racerback (or whatever you call it)
No notched fender flares.
A real manual shift transfer case with low range (is that asking too much?)
Ditch the torsion bars for coilovers

With that, I might like it

yeah not everybody with a ranger is a trail hog or a baja prerunner ... plus i remember looking at a lot of stock rangers when they came out and said theyre gay ... then when i saw them all tricked out they we´re awesome... plus ford has to try to make one thing to appeal as many markets they can

It looks like the box is seperate from the cab which means it has a chasis, I really like the wheels and those flaires would look really good with a set of 35's under them

honestly it might be good for the market but i dont like it. it has the front end similar to the frestyle for starters which makes me think it is going to be a weak car. you can scratch the abuse resistance factor, boost horsepower and fuel economy and make it drive more like a car. the cab is reminicent of some of the import trucks on the market and the pice behind the cab and the bed cover are genuinly stupid. the facia looks bad and the cover should be an option. running boards should be an option and that bumper will be problematic under any abuse. on the bright side you would see better handling near street slicks and i wouldnt be suprised to see independent front and rear axles, and no reduction in the transfer case, posibally AWD . turning into more of a road warrior than a practical working truck. so like i said if its good for the company, let them have it, but i wont buy it.

my first thought was ridgeline. I like the current body style, and if they were to just make some new engine choices including a diesel i would buy one. I dont need it to look like a spaceship.

The doorhandle and the oval look pretty good, dunno what they trying to do with the rest of it.

Not a fan, I am sure I have seen uglier rigs but I can't remember when.
