I'm currently building a 2000 ranger. I'm putting a 383 stroker in it and I want to put a th400 behind it. Any ideas on how to mount that tranny in there? Any adapters avaliable?

adapt it to what????????

fawk that ranger t case...put a gm unit in there.

i run a 4l80 into a ford 208 myself, but i have a pile of ford 208's.

i have a 241 and a 205 as well i will put together in there eventually.

theres some pics on this page we were discussing mounting options with...

not sure if that will help or not...i also have my t case rotated a bit so its flatter, this was a compromise between the gm and ford patterns.

any time you put a different manufacturers eng/trans in any vehicle there is going to be fabrication. get out the sawzall, torch, and welder. do your homework regarding clearances, angles, and so forth. too many things to consider to list here.

The truck will be a 2wd so no tranfercase issues.

well....should be a cake job.:icon_thumby:

may need to grab a 32 spline slip off of a van or something and get a cross joint.
