It would help if you told people whether you had a manual or automatic transmission. If you DO have a manual transmission, I have a couple of shift linkages that came off of M5OD/1354's. As for the little "arm" that's bolted right to the transfer case I do have one of them for sure but the only problem is that it's bolted to a transfer case and if I decide to sell the transfer case then it would be missing.

Your Right I Would Help, Haha, sorry, Its A Automatic, Its A C5 From A 1983 Ranger, I Have The Linkage That Came With The C5 And 1350 But Just No Arm On The Transfer Case.

so linkage from an a4ld/1350 combo, wont work with a m50d/1354 ??

i just figured i had the little arm in the wrong place when i was bolting in the linkage

No it will not work.

I'm using a A4LD shift lever I had on my FM146 with a 1350 and 1354 on my M5OD and 1354 :dunno:

I tried putting an A4LD shifter linkage for a 1350 on my M50D and 1354 and it wouldn't fit. Just saying.

hahns i hope you read this cuz i'm not fully understanding what you wrote.

i have a FM146 and i just put a manual shift 1350 in place of my 1350 electric shift. i got the case from a guy who had it in a bII, said it came from a FM tranny. the shifter linkage was WAY too short. i went to u-pull found a manual tranny (was dark and only had a few minutes so i don't know what tranny) and manual shift t-case. it was longer but i still can't shift from 2HI to 4WD. if i get down and shift it into 4WD, by hand, it will shift just fine to 4LO and N, and back to 4HI and even back to 2HI. i just can't get it back to 4WD for 2WD.... is it the little arm on the case? or the linkage? is somethin supposed to go on that little arm pin?

Your original linkage must have come from an FM145. Have you tried adjusting the gate for the shifter?

:icon_confused:... umm.... no. :D don't have the slightest clue what you're talkin about...
