how hard is it to crank the torsion bar on my 06 sport

simple, all you need is a can of wd-40 and a half in socket

whats the highest that i can turn the bolts to

As much as you want really, they only go so far. Just remember the ride gets rougher the more you crank. Mine only gave me like an inch and a half when I did it because the one bolt was driving in more to begin with.

ok my friend said it would mess up the spindles in the front is he right

No not at all, if you had a 4x4 it would put more stress on the cv axles, but you dont. Just make sure to get an alignment after you crank them so you dont mess up your tires.
