Hello All! I have been having a problem with a slight tapping coming from under my truck towards that front. I am pretty sure it's not internal. It only does it when I am in gear idling or going really slow. It is an auto. I am thinking it is the Exhaust Gasket. When I Sea Foamed my truck the smoke came out of the manifold too so that is the other thing that makes me think that is it. I don't like it cause the tick sounds internal and everyone looks when your at a stop light. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Id just rev up the motor if they have a problem with it. But thats just me.

don't rev a cold motor especially the ohv. let it do its thing till it warms up. climb under it while running and tap around the exhaust flanges with a hammer. careful hot exhaust pipes will split the skin. could be a heat shield loose panel. could be a donut gasket if it has a gotten louder in the past few weeks. probably nothing major.
