Tapatalk interface

Anyone else having trouble viewing TRS on Tapatalk lately? Over the past few days, when I try to view a specific thread, I get a "network error" message. I can see the overview pages fine. But if I click on a thread to open it, I get the error message - most of the time. I don't know how Tapatalk interfaces with websites, so I don't know if it is a Tapatalk problem, TRS problem, or something on my end. I can view other forums fine, so it seems that it might be an issue between Tapatalk and TRS.

I tried logging into the site through the browser on my phone last night (Google Chrome on Samsung S9). But that didn't work for me either. I would put in my username and password and it would just kick me back to the sign-in block to do it all over again. Tapatalk makes it much easier to view on the phone as opposed to the view in Chrome.

If I'm the only one, then maybe it's just me. I can deal with that.

To clarify, it doesn't work on both Tapatalk and Chrome on your phone?

I'm definitely able to access TRS by both methods on my own S9.

I ditched Tapatalk years ago after they updated the app and made TRS almost impossible to find, even with the search function.

Then after learning some of the shady stuff they do with forums that support their app I decided to never go back.

I don't have issues getting in via Chrome on my S7 or Tab4 though.

No problems here I used tapatalk for all the forums I'm on, Wooden Boats, sail boats Rangers....

I was not trying to imply they were the same problem or even related. Normally, I can log in with chrome on my phone. I just don’t do that often because it’s more cumbersome to navigate. I’m currently typing this reply on Chrome on my work phone - one of those fruity iPhone thingies.

Have you tried clearing data from the Tapatalk app? That would be my first troubleshooting step.

I was about to try that. But first I signed out and signed back in. It's working fine now. Some days the simple solutions are the last ones to come to mind.
