I'm in the process of installing another gas tank on my 1984 Reg. Cab Ranger. I plan to use a tank from a 1988 BII. I have read on this site that it can be done with modifications to the bed and a body lift. I saw a 1979 F-150 with dual tanks. Can anyone tell me if the rear tank on the F 150 will be a better fit? I don't think it will have the electric fuel pump in the tank but will it fit? Thanks

might better off getting a hold of aftermarket tank company...and asking if the part numbers for the f150 are the same for the ranger?

with the twin tank f150 your car will be more weight and difficult to speed. any exchange will increase to consumption of gasoline
