How easy or not easy is it to take out the whole A/C system? The compressor on mine is done with and I don't want to replace it and spend the money. Specially since I bought the truck used and have no idea how the rest of the AC system is. I know I can just take out the compressor since I already have the shorter belt bypassing it all together, but how about the rest of the stuff? Thanks for any help.

As for the under "box" , I beleive that it is the same as the 1st Gen RBV. Go take a look at one, and check. IF it is, then simply find the underhood box that is a NO A/C and install it, while removing the a/c stuff. Cool thing is, this way you canset your control panel to the "max A/C" setting and it will simply, and quite toastely, recirc the all ready heated air instead of pulling in more cold air that has to be heated up. I did this to my BII, and brother, it flat out gets HOT in that thing now. :)

there really is no point to removing the rest of the system. it will function the exact same either way.

Hi, if you are going to remove all the A/C here is a warning. Find a donour truck that has no A/C because you will need to get the blower fan system from it to place back into the truck. and keep the thermometer from the one you are taking out for you wil need to place that back into the one you will be putting in. (this is how I had to do this on a 92) I am guessing that yours is 94, and I would venture it has the same general stuff. I had to hack saw off the pipes that lead to the air cooler in the grill, it is still in there for i haven't taken the grill out to get rid of the cooler yet. hope this might help.
