when i turn on my running lights, my brake lights and reverse lights work but my tail lights will not work. i think its a ground problem but im not sure. any ideas?

Did you check the bulbs? Don't assume they're good just because the brake lights work. The brake/tail bulbs are dual filament bulbs. It's possible the filaments for the brakes work, but the filaments for the tails don't.

yes i checked the bulbs and replaced one but still have the same problem. i checked fuses too.

It is not likely to be a ground problem if your stop lights work. Dual element bulbs use the same ground, through the base of the bulb. If your fuse is good (best to check it with an ohmmeter--sometimes the fault is not visible), then I would suspect a broken wire or faulty connector.

Take a look under the bed. There may be a connection problem there. Maybe a trailer connector was installed and has a problem there. The ground should be okay because the stop/turn use the same ground.

Did you find a resolution? I am having the same issue.
