anybody ever made up some tail light fillers and mounted some led's in them on a ranger or b2 like this??
seems like they would be pretty simple to make for the 1st and 2nd gen guys, and would be easy to match the factory curves of the taillights.
take the stock tail light out, measure twice, cut out some pieces of metal mimicking the shape of the tail light...mounting holes and all. then weld em up
what do u guys think? im thinking about making some and use some led's in it like the xj guys...should i do it? my tail lights are faded and ive got paint overspray that refuses to come off

. Possibly cutting a hole for the led light, sinking it into the existing light lense then blacking out the rest of the light. Either way a lot of work. I see it looking better and being easier to make one out of metal for the older generation squarish rangers.
