nice, i like the look of the round ones but i agree theyre too small to be driving with in traffic. the oval ones look good but what do you have for back up lights (i would imagine youve got some auxilary back up lights, but maybe not)? how are they fastened on, i see the holes and slots but i dont see the fasteners?
No reverse lights. The guy that owns the truck said he's gonna put some LED lights on the bumper.
The slots and holes are there to get the screws in and tightened. On the flat pattern I added tabs that fold behind and the screws go through them to hold it on in the factory locations. When I switched it over to the oval light the gasket covered the 2 holes close to the tailgate.
Look pretty good. Been wanting to do some of those to the Explorer for a while now just got some other crap to do first. It's on the list though. Make some for the Explorers. lol
On mine, which I haven't finished yet. I put small round lights on the side for safety reasons.with regular taillights u can still see the bracke, light, and turn signal from the side. Some states its mandatory to have some sort of sidemarker. Might want to give it a thought. I would run some aux reverse lights as well so when u are in the woods or trail u don't back into shit. Plus the way people drive in parking lots its good for them to know u are backing out. That way they might can see u when they are goin 40mph and texting driving through the parking lot
For some reason I can't for the life of me, remember his user name on BII.org, sorry man if your on here, you did a great job never the less and when I break my last spare tail light I'm copying your tail lights.
Anyways, here's what he did, looks great in my eyes.
