I wonder why he didn't use the tow truck in the background?

has more trust in those tailgate cables than I do! Ive seen far too many tailgate cables fail than I want to risk.

Haha well its hard to see in the picture but theres no way that flatbed would fit back there. It was 92 degrees humid and I didnt feel like picking up the front end so my lazy side came out. As far as the cables go believe it or not its about the only non rusty part on the truck.

looks like a trip to the hospital waiting to happen.

You gonna restore it? Looks like it would make a bitchin muscle car!

Its actually my friends car and he plans to. Hopefully within the next year or so it will see the road. I think hes shooting for 9's in a street driven car but we will see what he does.

This was before I had built my car trailer...............stripped the Monte and need its remains outta the way, :icon_idea:so I used the 74 Elky I had bought to haul it to the boneyard.

Well you get points for being ballsy, BUT YOU JUST LOST THEM ALL FOR BEING A GOOFBALL. I def wouldnt have admitted that was me.

That comment thrown at me there Froggy???

Elky had tiedown brackets in the corners, chained it down so it would just follow like a dolly, boneyard was only 1/2 mile from my house, and the thing never moved. I got to the boneyard, undid my chains, stomper the skinny pedal to the floor, and she landed without a scratch to the Elky!

I've been called a Goofball before amongst other things:icon_twisted:...................

That made my day lol

x2 on that.:icon_thumby::icon_cheers:
