tach question

im sure this exact question has been asked but i just wanted to get some reviews on people who have done it
i have a 96 ranger with no tach and bought a 96 explorer cluster with a tach and was wondering if i hooked it up would i run into any problems?

If i am correct, you just plug it right up and it will work perfectly.
