Tach placement

Hey everyone. I just got a new autometer tachometer. But i have no clue where to put it in my 1998 4 banger. I was thinking either on the column or on the dash but i dont it to look to ricey on the dash. I have pictures of what it would look like in both locations. I would appreciate all kinds of feedback. Thanks

why not find a factory dash gauge cluster w/ factory tach?

that or get a small tach, like 2" and put it on the a-piller like diesel trucks have gauges there.
