Tach at 55 MPH

For those of you with the 98 - 00 2.5L 5-Speed with 3:73 gears. Where does your tach run at 55 MPH. Mine runs at 2300 and I have bigger tires. When i drive about 52 it shows right on 2000. That makes me think that 2000 RPM's is 55 with my bigger tires. Thanks ranger1998xlt

you need to tell what size you are running, and what the stock size was.

p235 15's are on it now, it is suposed to be 225's

I'm assuming the trans ratio is the same in my 05 with a 2.3L, running 3.73 gears and 235's I'm running right about the same as you are, just over 2000 RPM (actually going a tad faster than 55 because of the slightly larger tires, stock were 225/75R15).
