So im in the middle of my v8 swap in my 1985 2wd Longbed ranger. I Have the engine and most of my parts. I have everything for the transmission except the hydraulic clutch cylinder. Now my question is. What Hydrualic clutch cylinder can i use on the T5 Tranny? Is there one that will bolt right on with the correct throw and everything? or is there on i can atleast mount on a mounting plate that would work? Also would i need to get a different slave cylinder? the part when you push in the clutch and it sends the fluid down the line?

Now for the wiring. I believe before i pulled the motor it had a 2.8L carb with some crappy 3/4 speed automatic transmission. Well on the wiring harness that goes from the cab to the motor. theres a wire conected to the main Igntion harness for "headlights and etc" Im not sure what that wire is for tho... I believe its just a power wire for the dizzy on the old engine or something..

I will have to update my build thread when i finish the project ;D

Teddyzee just answered part of your question in this thread the other day:
