I have read that the u joint style output of my stock 85 bronco II t-case is weaker than the flat flange style behind a v8... this makes sense, but I was wondering what you guys run and if you have ever managed to break either.
I am getting a driveshaft made up to the t-case but I dont want to get it made to a potentially weak t-case.. I have a flange style t-case to swap out the flange for the u-joint. How Hard is this swap to do?
I also have a spare t-case with the ujoint style output in case the other one breaks... so is it worth it to go with the flat flange or keep the ujoint style one and run the spare when or if it ever decides to fail? I have a very mild v8 out of a 90 mustang.
