T-case swap now trani shift prob

96 ranger xl 3.0L auto not sure what trani. ok here we go i know everybody will tell me to get rid of the auto but I will in the future. ok i did a transfercase swap from the electric shift to a manual shift t-case. Everthing was a breeze except finding linkage parts any way's transmision shifts fine in 2 hi and 4 hi, but when I engage 4 lo I lose drive and overdrive . With the indicator on D it will not shift past first gear but I can manualy get first and second gear, no electrical on manual case except speed sensor. do not know why or how the trani knows that it is in 4lo????? ANYBODY?????

i didn't see anything specific about the auto to man tc swap, but maybe between the articles about your tranny and the tc, you'll find something that will solve your issue.

trans is 4r44e and the case swap was 1354e to a 1354m
