I know that on a BW1354 the front output can be swapped onto the rear of the case, for the purpose of running a double cardian shaft in the rear.

My question is: Are the front D35 input yokes and the front 1354 output yokes interchangeable? I have a spare D35 input yoke, and am looking to swap a double cardian into the rear. I have a spare D35 input yoke but no 1354 front yoke to swap onto the rear of my case, and was wondering if the D35 would fit.

And this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone know what the stock length of the front driveshaft is for a 91-94 Explorer?

Don’t think it will work buddy. The 1354 front output is different then the 35 input. It uses straps to hold the joint in, bolts tread into the yoke. As for the 1354 output the bolts go through the yoke and thread into the double cardien shaft end.

Now if the spline count and diameter is the same and I have no idea if they are then I guess you could maybe drill out the holes if they are in the right place to accept bolts to run through to thread into the shaft.

As I side note, I think Kuru still has those two sploders. I know the t-cases are still in them. You want me to get the yoke for ya?

Sure. That would be awesome. Ya, I looked and the yokes are not swapable between the diff and t-case. The good news though is that I think a stock front shaft might fit in the rear without any shortening or lengthening.

Got tired of waiting on those retreads, so I ordered a set of 35x12.5x15 Pro Comp mud terrains on Rock Crawler rims. :D

Got my Jeep hubs, and also have Moog joints all around on the front.

Ok, sounds good I'll make a Kuru run this weekend with the snow shoes!
