My truck has the e-shift 1354 T case in it. I have pretty much ready to go in a manual shift 1350 case. But the 1350 has a slip yoke for the front, but I dont have the actual slip yoke and I cant find one. Since the 2 transfer cases are pretty similar, could I take the front output shaft parts from my 1354 and put them in the 1350?

As far as I know, there is no SYE kit available for the BW1350 and I believe the parts are NOT interchangeable.

Yes its possible... I know of one 13-52 (thats what my buddy called it). Last known whereabouts - a red 93 Splash 4x4 near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Its a matter of machining the case some; drilling, reaming, and tapping a few holes, and plugging other holes. I probably wouldnt waste the time building another one, I'd just build another shifter set-up to replace the e-shift motor. (I have no clue where that went, that truck has changed hands a few times.)

Just get a slip yoke shaft from an older RBV and run it.

Yea thats waht I was just thinking. Since I have the TTB, If I found like an 85 BII or Ranger with the slip yoke front shaft would it be the same length? Or could I just put the actual slip yoke piece on the current shaft in the ranger?

You would need the whole shaft from something a little newer with a D35. The shaft for a D28 truck will be too long.

Check out the tech library. The 28 has more bolts on the diff and is much smaller.

The 1350 case was never paired with the D35 to my knowledge.

You'll be best off finding a shaft from a D28 truck and having it shortened 1" at a driveline shop (make sure the truck it comes from has one of the following transmissions: A4LD, FM146, M5OD).

There is one other option.

The STX High Rider had the bolt on front yoke in a 1350 case. The kits are very hard to come by, but they are still out there and pop up from time to time.

They're easy to find if you know where to look... I've got 2 13-50m STX cases and the parts to put together a 3rd in my garage.

Get the front drive shaft from an FM145 truck. They are about 1.5" shorter than an A4LD. It will work with the long trans, D35, and 1350.
