This may be a dumb question, but can somebody in the Tampa area help me crank them? Doesn't have to be in Tampa. I'll be willing to make 30 minute drive or so.

I would really do them by myself, but I'm just afraid I'll screw something up if I try doing it.

Thanks-

If you're not comfortable tinkering with it, just ask an alignment shop to do it. You have to get it aligned anyway after you crank the bars up. I had an alignment shop do mine, mostly because it was winter and there was 6" of snow on the ground.

Okay. That's what I thinking about doing. Do you remember what you paid for them to do it?

IIRC, that was on my previous couple of trucks ('08 Sport Tracs don't have torsion bars), about $100 for the alignment and torsion twist both, but I'm in PA where stuff is cheap. A chain store might not do it so look for a frame and alignment shop ending in "and Sons" where the mechanics drive lifted trucks themselves.

I had mine cranked by an alignment shop in Bonham and it cost me about $80. That was for the t-bar crank and alignment.
