I'm doing a T-5 swap in my 97 2.3L 2wd. I'm just finishing rounding up everything I need. I have a couple of questions, maybe someone has an answer.
Speedo gear:
Will the stock speedo gear from my truck work in the T-5? If not anyone have any suggestions on what will work and read accurately?
Transmission Mount:
Does anyone have any measurements on the plate I will need to fab to mate it to the X-member? Or would it be easier to cut the rivets and move the X-member forward to pick up the mount?
Lube:
What have most of you found to be the best lube to put in these trannys? The thought of running ATF in a manual disturbs me. I feel like its too abrasive.
