so i got my t-5 behind my 302 but i cant figure out the cable to pedal thing. i got the pedals out of a mustang but they dont look promising as there is very limited space under the dash of a ranger. any ideas? expeirinces? i dont want to use a hydraulic clutch cuz the are laggy and the cable can be adjusted if nee be.

if you dont want hydraulic clutch.... good luck!

My thought exactly! People have tried the cable and given up and gone to the hydraulic. The external slave cylinders can be adjusted also. The interal TO bearing styles are self adjusting. Mustangs are wider under the hood than the Ranger, giving room to run the cable. The later, '05' newer Mustangs all run the hydraulic system.
