low power to high power subs is not true. seams like it should be but its not.
but two 10's around 150wrms each, and new speakers and a good hu will be all you should really need.

Well I beg to differ my 100w rms sub gives 100x better sound then my friends 1000w sub and thats with his being tuned by a custom shop... maybe that was the problem.... i did mine myself.

Whats wrong with dual? I will record me beating you up with my dual amp then plugging it back in and making you listen to how well its still working! Not really lol but theres nothing wrong with them. some products just aren't as good as others.

as far as buying used drivers, you cant really test how much something has been beat on. not a good idea. its not just coils but spiders, surrounds ect.

as far as not buying duels, yea they work, some people dont mind them, but were do you see duels being sold at.....wally world and pepboys. not at crutch feild, or in car audio stores, you never see them at comps, theres a reason for that.

and i dont really care about how your 100w sub sounds better then your buddies yadda yadda yadda, no offence, its all apples to oranges,

test it your self, get a L7, a W7, and a duel, all 12 inches all in the correct boxes with correct class d amps, tell me which ones pounds,

no two set ups are the same nor have they been proven to be set up correctly, so saying your explods beat out your yo boys what ever is just a waist of time.

ahha thats why that have different classes of competition . some people strive to make a sub pound with 100 w. others use 5000 watts in limitless comp class's

Yeah I got my dual setup off of crutchfield and it came highly recommended. And after ruthless beatings its still working same with the amp.

Lol you must be one of those douchebags that annoys people everywhere, Like I said my 100w sub sounds better and bumps fine AND it doesn't annoy other people higher power doesn't mean better.

As for the fact its a Memphis sub not a dual, I will admit they have junk for subs. And yeah they are gonna be different your comparing a 10 dollar garage sale sub to a 300$ + sub.

I never said any two setups are the same, I said more expensive and powerful isn't nessicarly better. And Xplodes a terrible name for stereos...

Why do you have to make this into an arguement? I was giving my opinion, which happens to be that my cheaper setup does sound better then my buddys. Obviously it probably doesn't sound near as good as yours cause you bought expensive stuff but seriously.

i am the first person to tell you not to amp something and create a nice blended sound stage. as a matter of fact i think i posted against snomaker about amping highs unnecessarily.

also, your right there is no need to unload money to have a good sounding systems, or have alot power going thur it. my ex's soundedd just as good as mine, with 266Wrms as mine did over 1000. the only difference is how far away we could annoy some one lol

i have my ideals and thoughts and so do you. cool, i never wanted a fight. the bible said to teach a man to fish so he can eat for a life time. and thats what i aim to do, not by saying ones better or push my ideals, but to give some one all the info. from makeing your ears bleed to doing absolutely nothing, and let them figure it out. let them take what they have learned and come up with what works for them. unfortunately i feel like im always arguing, "the other side" and its a different side all the time. it not to fight, its to educate
