my b2 has just rolled over to 100,000 when i bought it 3 yrs ago it had 76,000 and i have a A4ld. im thinking of doing a transmission fluid change and wondering if using a synthetic would be a bad idea. the tranny seems to shift nice and i dont think it has ever been changed.
thanks for the input.

Probably not too necessary to use synthetic, but it certainly couldn't hurt. I would change the fluid no matter what though, regardless. I recently used Valvoline Maxlife in my A4LD and it's working great. It's a full synthetic.
