switch auto for 5 speed???

Hey i have a 91 ranger extra cab 4x4 with a 3.0. with a auto trans would like to know what all i would need to get off a 89 or 90 91 or 92 truck to make the change over work i am tired of the trans problems with auto transmissions front seals blowing out an stuff. any info would be highly appreisated

I went through the same thing that auto was trying to make a pedestrian out of me.On my 86 I used 93 pedals so they work quite a few years.I don't know the 3.0 but I do know the 3.0 only fits itself and what manual trannies were available but the M50D is the one worth the trouble and it's the same length as the A4LD. The only other thing I learned was start with a pretty good manual I had to tear mine back out and rebuild it.Save yourself some grief use a new clutch kit, flywheel, master cylinder and slave cylinder.
