spent the afternoon detailing 13 years of sun damage and scratches. washed, clay bar, washed, and waxed. plus tomorrow is my 5 year anniversary of having my tuck.

For real, if you have an air compressor and an hvlp gun, it's a $5 dollar paintjob to do the whole truck... good results, too.
 
did some fab work in it this weekend as well. sorry for the cell phone pics.

i converted my stock hanger to budget drop hangers.

added 2x2 angel iron. gusseted the ends to help lessen side forces.

finished and mounted. the down side is that i went from 4 mount holes to 3.

here is a funny. Operation Horse Evac was a success. vehicle contents: heavy ass cage, mini horse, a bird 1" tall, two dogs, wife and i, our belongings for 4 days, and truck essentials. trip details: make sure horse and bird are living after a 6 hour drive when delivered

i could not tell you how many pics were taken of me while on the 6 hour drive. thank you for the complement.

this does not surprise me that much, i would have pulled out the iPhone and took a pic :icon_rofl:

love the build, truck looked awesome after getting rid of sun damage n such. wish that was my only prob lol. id have to sand down the paint and rust. hope one day my build goes beyond shackles hehe. cant wait to see more.

that thing flexes pretty good.. stuffs that rear tire.. nice pic.
 
it givies you an idea of where the tire would be if i hit the stock bump. seeing that makes me wish i had some spare funds to put in to the rear.

for the 6 hour trip north i had to deliver my mom's great dane to my grandpa. poor dogs has a tumor growing in her mouth. tomorrow my grandpa's going to survey the tumor and remover as much of it as possible.
