swaybar disconects

hey, was wondering if anyone makes swaybar disconects for my 95 ranger, i cant seem to find anyone, if not, is there anyway to make the jeep ones work on it?

Most people that do anything with the swaybar typically delete it.

you could just make your own for very cheap.

just drill a small hole for a clevis pin through the end of your swaybar bolts and install. to d/c the swaybar, you pull the clevis pin and the bolt slides out.

Jeep ones should bolt right on. I forget exactly which ones though (YJ Wrangler, I think). Take one of yours in to compare them to.

Some people say they don't notice it at all... personally I feel more comfortable with them on, my truck likes to flop around a lot at freeway speeds with them off.

my explorer rides like shit on the highway with them disconnected...but i also have a lot more weight than your rangers...its more practical if you daily drive it obviously. use clevis pins from home depot. cheap and easy

keep them if you want to haul a load or tow much.i put mine back on and will be doing disconnects

+1 on disconnects, they are easy to make and handy to have.

9" of lift with 36" swampers and my ranger seems fine on the street without the swaybars.

When I had a TTB lift I really noticed if I had the rear sway bar connected or not, but with the SAS it feels solid and stable without it.
