I have a 92 ranger, I want to know if I remove the sway bars will my truck handle better of road? will it increase wheel travel? My suspension is all stock as of now. thanks:D

its not gonna help your handling its gonna make it feel really top heavy but it would probly make your ride smoother.

My experience is TTB suspensions aren't affected quite as much by removing the swaybars as the A-arm suspension are.

Disconnect it and see how it drives while onroad. If it's still acceptable, leave it off (or maybe get quick-disconnects for it).

Thanks for the info, I think i'll wait till spring to try taking them off, I think body roll would be bad on snow covered roads and ice!

i drove my TTB truck without the sway bars and didnt like it. but then again im a pretty spirited driver...

id suggest a set of quick disconnects. you can make them yourself for cheap.
