I hope this is the right place but I would like to get a stiffer sway bar for the front of my truck. I have a 2002 4wd Ranger Edge. What size would be the best to get?

why I want sway bars? Because I want to improve the handling of my vehicle while im driving on-road.

are you wanting to improve your handling or lessen body-roll....there is a big difference....

a thicker sway bar will just let your truck lean less...

and i can't tell what type of tires you have...

an All-Terrain or Off-Road tire will have a more flexible sidewall than a straight street tire, so the handling will be more "wallowy" than say a street or performance tire with a stiffer sidewall...

so if ya want sharper handling in your truck get a suitable street tire

I want to lessen the body roll right now i have like average street tires but i will be getting more aggresive off-tires sometime

That truck already has a pretty dang stiff swaybar up front. I'm not sure anything bigger is available. Larger rims might help some (shorter sidewalls), although do remember that it's a 4WD pickup truck, it's not going to handle like a Porsche or a 'Vette.

well if I can do what I wwant to im gunna swap in a 5.0L V8 so I figured a stronger sway bar will help

AT's or off-road tires may have stiffer sidewalls actually. i have the TreadWright tires and my sidewalls are 10 ply rated. i cut the sway bars off the rig and have very, very little body lean.

rear swaybar..........
