going to install explorer axle in 99 ranger and got the parts off explorer but didn't pay attension where the sway bar holes went on frame. I scrapped the explorer and can't look at it. can anybody help? Thanks Joey!

Explorer sway bar is completely different from Ranger - it mounts off back of axle, to frame well back of the axle (spare tire area...), while Ranger is in front.

For my lowered '98, I am running the Ranger sway bar. Not sure what I am doing with the lifted one yet...

I put a Hellwig sway bar on my 98 Ranger some years ago. Mounts to the bottom of the shock mounts and forward of the rear axle using existing holes.

So, the stock one (must be a rarity) mounts in the same fashion? Mine's a SPORT and didn't have a rear sway bar. What a difference it makes having one though. :D
