The softer the spring rate the more there needed for the street, I changed out my stock 99 A-arm springs for a softer, lower rate but longer springs for a better ride, took it out for a drive to settle them in place with out the sway bar very scary, put the heavy duty bar on with poly bushings, and man it handles like a gokart and rides like a lux. car, not all trucks are for off road use thats why I have 2 of them
