What all do I need to convert a 95 3.0 with a manual 4wd to a auto 4wd?

I'd say a firm resolve. A lot of people are likely going to chime in and say WHY? Are you nuts? LMAO!

I have a 3.0 auto and I'm happy with it. It's not as bad as people say. But, mine has no muffler, a MAC intake and a JET chip on the computer. Raises the fuel profiles, advances the timing and raises the shift points. I can spin my back two 255/60-15 Cooper Cobra Gt's at any stop.

Personal reasons as to why I'm doing it. Other then that just need to know what parts and all will be needed.

A 4wd donor truck with an automatic transmission with the Vulcan bolt pattern

You need a automatic from a 3.0 4x4. No other engine will work and 2wd wont work. You also need the computer, and wiring harness.

And radiator, cooler lines, it’s probably a different starter.

Oh and the steering column and gauge cluster...

Alright the wiring harness just goes from trans to computer or other places?

It goes to quite a few places. I cant remember each little wire but your best off just taking the entire wiring harness from the donor truck.

Keep in mind usually manual trans trucks have higher gear ratios as well. So it may feel like it's a slug with an automatic unless you lower the gear ratios.

You probably won’t need the entire harness. Just the trans harness. You’ll have to unplug the that manual harness and plug in the auto one.
