Can I use the stock clutch and starter (for now)
Can I plug a clutch line from a '91 explorer into the stock master cylinder on an 1985 Bronco II?

Thanks!

Yes you should be able to. It should be the same amount of splines and the master cylinder should be the same connection.

The clutch master cylinders used on RBV's from 1982-1992 are all identical.

So yes, the clutch line from a 1991 explorer will connect directly to your
1985 master cylinder.

If your trans donor is the 4.0 explorer the line is comming from I really
hope you grabbed the clutch, flywheel and starter motor with it....

The heavir flywheel and bigger clutch are a bolt-on upgrade for any 2.8/2.9
but the 4.0 manual flywheel REQUIRES the permanant magnet starter
from a 4.0 manual trans

Getting that starter to work on your 2.8 is as simply as a 5foot length
of 10 ga wire.
