Swapping from 60/40 to race buckets

I have been thing about swapping my 60/40 seats to racing type buckets. I like the Smittybilt XRC seats. I have used them in one of my buddies Jeeps and I really like they way they feel and fit. They are really neat looking. Has anybody here done this swap? Would I have to build custom brackets or could I cut the original seat fram down and use that? Anybody have an idea?

Ive never mounted any seats like that but I'm sure you could use the brackets off Ranger/Explorer buckets seats and mount them to those.
