Swap Question

It is an eshift if that matters at all.

It might, the years are pretty vague. I would test fit yours before I ran out and bought another one.

Crap didn't even notice that. Found a guy in Logan, Iowa with a 208. Might look more into that.

If i switch to a 208 can I use the shift linkage from the 4406?

Iirc, all 4406's are pulse signal (electronic), as far as the linkage, it wouldn't be a bolt on linkage, but I'm sure you can modify it to work...

I think it is the same t case, my brother's '97 F-150 has a gear.

The shift linkage is actually a simple design and a person could easliy make it out of simple stuff. Its a lever hooked to a bolt as a piviot then a long flat piece of steel with a hole at the front and end that then hooks to the lever that hooks to the tcase linkage.

I will say that if I ever get a front driveshaft put in mine and go to use 4wd, the shift lever will hit and be in the way of my leg but nothing some cutting, bending and welding cant fix.

Yeah, doesn't seem to difficult.

This might be a way to go if I cant find an older t case.
