I found a V6 for my ranger (4.0L) for $550 and I want to swap out my 2.3 4cyl to put in the V6. How do I go about doing that? Does it just bolt in place or do I need to buy other parts to make it fit? What about wiring?

Basically I need anything and everything as far as knowledge before I attempt this. Thanks!

Well, you'll need the wiring harness for the 4.0, possibly mounts, and a transmission or adapter that will bolt up to the 4.0. I wouldn't recommend this unless you don't drive it daily or you have experience with vehicle wiring...
