I am looking for ways to keep the truck cooler.
What would be the best to swap in A/C, opening ex cab windows, or get a moonroof?

Installing AC is is the best way to stay cool. Opening extended cab windows don't do squat, you might as well leave them closed. A moonroof doesn't help when you're sitting still in traffic. Installing AC isn't that hard, just be prepared to buy a lot of parts.

Traffic is not really a problem around here. i might look and see whats involved installing one.

The hard part about the A/C is i have a swapped in 4.0. some of the A/C wires are there, but i have going to have to figure out how to get it paired with my 87 ranger.
Time to start making a list.
Does anyone know if a Explorer has a bigger A/C system?
