swap bucket seats?

now this might sound backwards to most of you, but is it possible to swap out the leather buckets in my fx4 to a 60/40 split? what would need to be done?

yes, you'll need a 60/40 out of a 98+ ext cab they should bolt up just fine

it is just like buckets except the drivers side has a little extra on the end. it is 4 bolts each side. why do you want to get ride of your buckets anyways. most people swap them in........

The 60/40 drivers seat kinda is a "bucket seat" with a "porch" that hangs over the center to fill the gap.

Personally I like my floor mounted console, but to each his own...

yeah im just lookin to cram one more person in really, im looking for the seats that have the middle seat with the hollow inside storage space..not sure what years they do that...

i'm not sure about that. I believe the gen 3 and above are interchangeable but havent really looked at gen1 and 2
