Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 1990 ranger 4x4 stock and i just bought some 32" x 11.5" bfg a/t. I was thinking of lifting it 4", would that be enough or would i have to go bigger?

I'm running 265/75/15's which are 30.65" tall X 10.43" wide, and at the moment my truck is factory height. I'm fairly certain I could run 32 X 11.50's as it sits.

When I say this, it makes sense to me (sorry if it doesn't for you) but; It would only sit inward another 1/2 inch roughly, and 3/4 inch on the clearance between the fender.

And a special shout out to Discount Tire for their tire calculator. :clapping:

You've got a '96. His '90 has a different body style with smaller fenders.

4" lift should be plenty for 32x11.50s though. At the most you'd need some extremely minor trimming at the very bottom edges of the fenders, but probably not.

My bad, I wasn't thinking about that. I did have 31 X 10.5 BFG's on my 91 Explorer at factory height and it had plenty of clearance (I always thought I could pull 32's off, but sold it before I had the chance). How similar are the 90 Ranger and 91 Explorer?

Explorer's just a hair larger as well (although not as much as your '96).
